About Data from the AMMKM

Several memorials presented on Lapidaret originate from public sources provided by the Agjencia për Menagjimin e Komplekseve Memoriale të Kosovës (AMMKM) — the Government Agency for the Management of Kosovo’s Memorial Complexes.

The AMMKM plays a central role in the preservation of national memory, maintaining sites dedicated to the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK) fighters and documenting their history across the country.
Lapidaret acknowledges the importance of this work and seeks to complement it by making these memorials more accessible through a visual and cartographic archive.

The integrated data (photograph, title, and geographic coordinates) were collected from publicly available sources on the agency’s website.
No modifications were made to the original material, in order to preserve its accuracy as published by the AMMKM.

Lapidaret wishes to thank the AMMKM for its ongoing work in documenting and safeguarding these places of remembrance.
This reuse of data is part of a broader effort to share knowledge and to honor existing institutional memory initiatives.
